Daily goal progress calculator
The daily goal progress calculator shows how far you are toward a daily goal. Enter a goal from 1 to 20 and the number of times you did the thing today. The result is your progress in percent, rounded down and capped at 100, plus whether you met the goal. Everything is calculated in your browser.
How does the progress calculator work?
The progress calculator divides the number of times you did the thing by your daily goal, multiplies by 100 and rounds down to a whole number. Results above 100 are shown as 100, because a goal cannot be more than fully met. The goal must be a whole number from 1 to 20, the same limit the app uses.
Example: with a goal of 8 and a count of 3, the progress is 37 percent, because 3 divided by 8 is 0.375.
What are the limits of this calculator?
The progress calculator only answers one question: how much of today's goal is done. It does not judge whether a goal is right for you, and it does not save results. The site counts how many calculations you made today in your browser storage and stops at 20 per day; the counter resets the next day.
Frequently asked questions
Why is my result rounded down?
The calculator rounds down so that it never shows a goal as met before it is. A count of 7 with a goal of 8 shows 87, not 88.
Can I enter a goal above 20?
No. Goals from 1 to 20 are allowed, the same range the Factory Demo app accepts.
Is my input sent anywhere?
No. The calculation runs in your browser. Analytics only records that the calculator was used and a result range, never the numbers you typed.
Why is there a daily limit?
The limit shows how the template handles a capped free feature. It is counted in your browser and resets each day.
